Hearing that Chris passed away recently was an extreme shock to me and a great loss.

Chris was my college roommate, in Cincinnati, and we continued our friendship into our professional careers. I last time I saw him was in Chicago, when he was close to giving his notice, and then kept in touch when he moved back to Columbus, to be closer to his family.

Chris was extremely family oriented, and I know his whole family unit meant the world to him. He spoke of them frequently, when he was not with them. With that being said, my humble condolences go out to the whole Doty family, which I remember well from college. Your family is in my prayers, and I find myself talking to Chris in heaven daily.

Jerry was a great man and a tremendous trustee supporter of the Kalida Volunteer Fire Department. Jerry's dedication to Sugar Creek Township and by serving as President of the Kalida Fire Board was top notch. Condolences to his family on their loss. Rest Easy Jerry - We will take it from here.
