Yolanda O (Olivo) Bejarano

Columbus Grove, Ohio

Yolanda O. Bejarano, 78, died Friday, October 8, 2021, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.  She was born January 27, 1943, in San Antonio, TX, to Eduardo and Emilia (Polendo) Olivo.

They both preceded her in death.

On November 5, 1960, she married Marcos C. Bejarano, Jr., who preceded her in death on March 24, 1995.

Yolanda is survived by four sons, Rudy (Minerva) Olivo, John Anthony (Norma) Bejarano, Mark (Crystal) Bejarano and John Manuel Bejarano; three daughters, Rosalinda (Karr-el) Gonzales, Linda (Joe) Hernandez and Suprina Bejarano;  16 grandchildren;  31 great grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; nine siblings, Elvira Davis, Eduardo (Geraldine) Olivo, Irene (Fernando) Cuevas, Dolores (Santana Contreras) Olivo, Juan Antonio Olivo, Elutherio (Isabel) Olivo, Jose Olivo, Juanita Olivo and Lucy (Abe) Bermudez and one sister in-law, Marisol Olivo.

She was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Carrie Barrientes and Athanasius Bejarano; and her six siblings, Elida Martinez, Jose Palacios, Roberto Olivo, Rogelio Olivo, Raul Olivo and Eduardo Olivo, Jr.

Yolanda grew up in Texas and her family moved to Ottawa, Ohio when she was 13 years old.  She grew up working in the fields, she enjoyed her work, and she loved cooking for her family - visiting and catching up with them.  Yolanda was especially close with her siblings, children and grandchildren. She loved “her music”, Texas based music.

She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Columbus Grove.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday October 13, 2021, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.  Father David Ritchie will officiate with burial to follow in St. Anthony’s Church Cemetery, Columbus Grove.

Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, where a Rosary Service will be held at the close of visitation.
