Steven Michael Hayden

Steven Michael Hayden, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2021, at his residence. He was born August 7, 1962, in Lima, to Glen W. and Shirley E. (Guider) Hayden, who both survive him.

Steve was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, partner and a caring person to all he met. He was a 1980 graduate of Columbus Grove High School. He owned and operated Steven Michaels Hair Studio for over 32 years. Steve was a member of the Vaughnsville United Methodist Church. He loved boating on Indian Lake and always patiently teaching his niece and nephew to ski and swim. He had a passion for gardening, landscaping and working around their home.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his siblings, Jerry Hayden and Diann Hayden Williams; his precious niece, Kaolin (Jeremy) Schumaker and nephew, Steven Gregory (Katrina) Williams; along with the joys of his life, great niece and nephews, Clara and Barrett Williams and Landon Schumaker. Steve also leaves behind his loving Partner of 29 years, Michael Girmonde.

Steve was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Donna Guider, and his paternal grandparents, Byron and Helen Hayden.

Private family services will be held at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove.
