Sharon Moore Obituary
COLUMBUS GROVE — Sharon K. Moore, age 76, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born November 22, 1944, near Columbus Grove, to Jacob and Emma (Walti) Myers. They both preceded her in death.
She had previously been married to Ron Barber who preceded her in death in 1974. On March 17, 1978, she married James E. "Butch" Moore, who also preceded her in death in 2016.
Sharon is survived by her brother Doyle (Donna) Myers; her two sisters, Ilo Hoskins and Bonnie Schumacher and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eloise (Ted) Verhoff and Gladys (Joe) Verhoff; and two brothers in-law, George Hoskins and Alvin Schumacher.
Sharon was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1962. She worked for and retired from the Putnam County Auditor's office, after 30 plus years. She loved NASCAR, especially Rusty Wallace, camping and spending time with friends and family at the campground at Indian Lake. She enjoyed Columbus Grove sports and watching her nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews participate in their sporting events. Sharon was a member of the Indian Lake Moose Lodge and the Columbus Grove Eagle's Aerie #2772.
Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Jim Klausing will officiate with burial to follow in Truro West Cemetery, Columbus Grove.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to time of service on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home.
