Roxanna Moye

Roxanna Moye of Columbus Grove passed away on May 20, 2022, at the Meadows of Kalida.  She was born on September 27, 1940, in Lima to Michael and Florence Hawk. 

She was previously married to Gary Wood.  She attended Bath High School.  She worked at Airfoil Textron, Claude Sintz in Deshler, and then retired from St. Rita’s Medical Center.  After retirement she moved in with her parents to take care of them.

She is survived by her sons Jay Moye, Thomas (Kelly) Moye, and daughter Cari (James) Fuerst.  She is also survived by her step-children Dale (Wynonia) Wood and Jodi (Dan) Johnson.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Melanie (Aaron) Smith, Adam (Mandy) Ream, Emily (Mike) Taylor, Sara (Andy) Hermiller, Josh Moye, Meagan Moye, Jacob Townsend, Hannah, Trevor, and Tyler Moye, Owen, Zach, Lauren, and Wyatt Fuerst.  She is also survived by step-grandchildren Lacy (Cody) Haag, Ceirra Miller, Breighton Miller, Kayla (Koby) Smith, Kortney (Gwil) Stumpp, and Kerstyn Johnson.  She has 6 great-grandkids and 11 step great-grandkids.  Brother Tom (Nancy) Hawk also survives.

She was preceded in death by son Billy Ream, daughter Laura Jane, step-daughter Lori Wood, and step great-grandson Hudson Haag.

Roxanna loved Elvis, her plants and dogs, watching Days of Our Lives, and LOVED playing BINGO.  She was very proud of her grandkids.  Thank you to her best friends Heidi and Don Bonnell for helping take care of her and loving her.

Friends may call at St. Anthony’s Church, Columbus Grove, on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at which time the mass will begin.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Anthony’s Endowment Fund.
