Mr. Oscar S. Vogt, 70, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at St. Rita’s Ambulatory Care, Glandorf, Ohio. He was born September 10, 1951, in Ottawa, Ohio, the son of Oscar S. Vogt, Sr. and Virginia (White) Vogt, both of whom preceded him in death.
On July 9, 1984, he married Loretta M. Krontz. She survives and resides in Columbus Grove.
Oscar attended the Ottawa-Glandorf School. He worked at the former Philips ECG Co. in Ottawa, where he was involved with manufacturing electrical components. He next worked as a diesel mechanic at the Beaverdam Truck Stop, Beaverdam, Ohio.
Oscar was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, he enjoyed fishing, playing computer games, and he was a BIG FAN of his great-granddaughter, Aryanna! His memberships included the Trinity United Methodist Church in Ottawa.
Surviving are two sons, Jeffery and Douglas Lambert, brothers Michael (and Nancy) Vogt and Robert (Koneta) Vogt, three sisters, Terry Baringer, Cathy Vogt and Linda Vogt, 11 grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren.
Oscar was preceded in death by a son Michael Turner, two sisters, Donna Ray Vogt and Donna Kay Vogt.
There will be no visitations or services for Mr. Vogt. Memorial donations may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1699 West Mound Street, Columbus, Ohio 43223.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, Ohio.
