Mary Louise’s greatest love in life was her family. She happily spent her years caring for her three children and surrounding herself with family. In her later years she was able to soak up time with her great grandchildren, which always brought the biggest smile to her face. Mary Louise was a kind and compassionate woman, devoted to God, and lived a simple life. She was the type of woman to slow down and enjoy the day as it was. She was always up for chatting the afternoon away with friends and family or a fierce game of euchre. She had a way of making those around her feel loved and valued. For all of this she will be truly missed by those whose lives she touched.
Mary Louise Rogers is survived by her brother Wilbur Schroeder. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Donald Goecke, and grandson, Jeff Burkholder. She is survived by her three children, Dale Goecke (Linda Goecke, deceased) of Columbus Grove, Judy Blakeman (Philip Wells) of Waterville, and Joanne Goecke (Garry Lambert) of Bluffton, and by her grandchildren Bryan (Casey) Burkholder, Sebastian Blakeman, Natalie (Elliott) England, and Tiffany (Brandon) Moody. Carrying on her love of life are her great grandchildren, Levi, Haley, and Aubrey Burkholder, Georgia, Rowen, and Ellie England, and Garrett Kirk.
Mary Louise was fortunate enough to be blessed with another great love in her life and is preceded in death by husband John Rogers and his son Chuck Rogers. She is survived by his children Bill (Debbie) Rogers, Jim (Reba) Rogers, daughter-in-law Karen Rogers, Bob (Ruth) Rogers, and Mike (Kristi) Rogers, as well as 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Mary Louise is also survived by special friends Jean Bixel, Flossie Selhorst, Jean Burkholder, Dick and Sharon Sweet, and Rita Vincent, and was preceded in death by dear friends, Zella Wells and Jean Beckman.
