M. Pauline (Stover) Core

Cairo, Ohio

 M. Pauline (Stover) Core age 92 died Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at The Meadows of Delphos. She was born at home near Cairo, Ohio on January 15, 1929 to Al and Helen (Rummel) Stover. They both preceded her in death.

On July 1st, 1950, she married James V. Core, who survives in Lima, Ohio.

Pauline is survived by a son, James Core, living in Vail, Arizona, daughter, Janet (Lloyd) Edwards living in Lima, Ohio along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol J. Core, a sister, Imogene (Delmer) Dunlap.

Pauline graduated from Lima Senior High School, and worked at Neon Products in Lima, Ohio before getting married, and in later years, she worked at the Bath Schools cafeteria. She was a homemaker, and loved spending time with her family. Pauline also enjoyed planting flowers, being outdoors, liked to sew and do needlework, and was a lifelong member of the United Church of Christ in Cairo, Ohio.

A memorial dinner will be held at a later date.

A graveside service will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Cairo Eastside Cemetery, with Pastor Geoff Eubank officiating.
