Joan Follas

Delphos, Ohio

Joan Follas, age 85, died Friday, June 4, 2021, at Vancrest of Delphos, Delphos, Ohio.  She was born October 29, 1935, in Columbus Grove, to the late Joseph and Neva (Basinger) Follas.

Her brother, Ray M. (Trudy) Follas and her sister, Margaret (Noland) Benroth, preceded her in death.  Also preceding her in death a cousin, Sarah E. Kuepfer.

Joan was a graduate of Beaverdam High School, class of 1953.  She had worked at the phone companies in Bluffton and Lima.  Joan also worked at the former Triplett Corporation, Bluffton, for 9 ½ years.  She was very good at helping people with farming, yard work, painting and general housework.

Graveside services will begin at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Truro West Cemetery, Columbus Grove.  Pastor David Huber will officiate.

Visitation will be from 11:00a.m. – 12:00 noon at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove.
