Jeannette M (Kinsey) Mull

Vaughnsville, Ohio

Jeannette M. Mull, 90, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on February 10, 1930, in Fremont, Ohio to Floyd and Helen (Seward) Kinsey, who preceded her in death.

In December 1947, she married Richard Mullins, who preceded her in death.  Jeannette worked at Philco in Sandusky, Ohio and at Erie Ordinance in Port Clinton, Ohio.  She also worked 10 years at the phone company in Port Clinton, and this is where she met Don E. Mull, whom she married on August 5, 1967, he preceded her in death, February 9, 2000.

Don and Jeannette eventually moved to Vaughnsville, Ohio where she formed a strong friendship with Louise Otto and Mary Sybert, and the three of them shared a love of movies which they went to as often as possible.  Jeannette loved living in Vaughnsville with all her wonderful neighbors, especially Billy and Beanie Wiswasser and their family.  She was a member of the Vaughnsville United Methodist Church.  She loved music, loved to sing and play the drums.  Jeannette was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.  She loved to spend time with her 11 grandchildren, her great grandchildren and her great great-grandchildren.  Jeannette always enjoyed when they called her "Big Mo!"

Jeannette is survived by her three sons, Richard J. (Carol) Mullins of Mishawaka, IN, Don "Ed" (Annette) Mull of Lacona, NY and John (Tammy) Mullins of Ottawa; her four daughters, Pat Howell, Vickie (Rick) Ward and Donna (Keith) Deters all of Port Clinton and Mimi (Jack) Unverferth of Kalida; her 11 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Doug Mull; her two brothers, John S. Kinsey and Floyd (Bebe) Kinsey; her sister, Wanda Kinsey Dubose and a very special son in-law, Jack W. Howell.

Services will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2021, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove.  Pastor Tom Brown will officiate with burial to follow in Vaughnsville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10:30 am- until time of service on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice or The Honor Flight Network.
