Jeanne Griffith

Jeanne Griffith, age 79, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 31, 2023, at her home in Columbus Grove, Ohio.  Jeanne was born May 8, 1944, in Lima, Ohio, to Byron and Lois (Good) Davies, both of whom preceded her in death.

Jeanne married Charles E. Griffith on November 14, 1964, and he survives in Columbus Grove.

She was a member of Vaughnsville United Methodist Church and their Evening Guild.  She had worked at the Vaughnsville Post Office, the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services in Lima, and at Putnam County Job and Family Services in Ottawa.  Jeanne was the founder/CEO of the Griller Girls.  She enjoyed being with her friends and family.

Jeanne is survived by her son Michael (Stefanie) Griffith, Findlay, Ohio, and her sister Mrs. Judy Herrick, North Canton, Ohio.  Also surviving are two grandchildren Grace Madison and Paige Elizabeth both of Findlay, Ohio.

Friends may call at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am.  Pastor Tom Brown will preside.  Burial to follow in Truro Cemetery.
