Danny A. Harman, 69, died Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio. He was born September 29, 1951, in Beckley, West Virginia, to John C. Harman and Augusta (Meadows) Harman Lather.
He had been married to Sharon (Wiswasser) Harman, who survives in Columbus Grove.
Danny is survived by his mother, Aggie Lather; daughters, Taylor (Trent) Kerns and Amber (Brian) Riepenhoff; and four grandchildren, Everly Kerns, Drew Riepenhoff, Layne Riepenhoff and Isaac Riepenhoff.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Harman and his step father, Phillip Lather.
Dan was a graduate of Ottawa Glandorf High School, class of 1969. He had worked at the former Sylvania Company, Ottawa. In 1973, he went to work at General Motors in Defiance. He was a member of the Ottawa Eagles, Arie 2234, Columbus Grove Eagles, Arie 2772 and the Columbus Grove VFW, Post 9648.
He enjoyed boating on Coldwater Lake, MI. He was a "Grill Master", who loved to prepare food outdoors where he enjoyed the company of his family and many friends.
Danny was very much all about his family: his daughters, his grandchildren, his sons in-law and his wonderful mother, Aggie.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
