Connie Lee (Renner) Ricker

Connie Lee Ricker, 75, died at 6:15 p.m., on March 13, 2021, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born July 15, 1945, in Gomer to Wilbur and Eleanor (Edwards) Renner.  They both preceded her in death.

On August 29, 1964, she married C. George Ricker, he survives in Columbus Grove.

Connie is also survived by her four sons, Robert "Bob" (Maggie) Ricker of Columbus Grove, Randall "Randy" (Laura) Ricker of Columbus Grove, Rodney "Rod" (Michele) Ricker of Ft. Jennings and Ryan (Stephanie) Ricker of Columbus Grove; 17 grandchildren, Mollie (Dustin) Mansfield, Stacie (Jeremy) McNamara, Kimberly Ricker, Allison (Alan Kemp) Ricker, Bryce Ricker, Annie Ricker, Aaron Gorczyca, Justin (Andrea) Ricker, Jeffrey (Rachel) Ricker, Christine Ricker, Andrea (Chad) Recker, Lucas Ricker, Ian Ricker, Logan Snyder, Wyatt Hoar, Mckayla Ricker and Morgan Ricker; 9 great grandchildren; her brother Robert "Bob" (Sue) Renner of Brookhaven, MS and her sister, Karen (Ronald "Ronnie") Schindler of Elida.

Connie was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School, class of 1964. After graduation and raising her four sons, she attended Apollo, earning her Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA).  Connie was a Nurse's Aid at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora, from which she retired after 25 years.  She was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Columbus Grove, and the Altar Rosary Society of the Church.  She enjoyed gardening, both flower and vegetable. She was a bird watcher/feeder and lover. Connie enjoyed caring for her outdoor cats and she collected arrow heads, whether she wanted to or not.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Columbus Grove.  Father David Ritchie will officiate, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March, 16, 2021 and  2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove.  Scripture service will be held at 8:00 p.m., the close of visitation, on Wednesday evening.
