Allan E. Eversole, 84, passed away, Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora, Ohio, with family at his side. He was born September 7, 1937, in Columbus Grove, Ohio, the son of Noland R. and Treva L. (Everitt) Eversole who both preceded him in death.
Mr. Eversole was a Columbus Grove High School graduate, class of 1955. Allan retired as a meat cutter, from Rays Super Market, Kroger’s, IGA, and Pantry Pride all of Lima for over 40 years. Allan was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church, Columbus Grove, Ohio, where he sang in the choir. He also performed in the Christmas Cantata in Columbus Grove and the Arise Easter Cantata in both Cairo and Delphos. Allan was an avid bowler and fisherman. He was also an avid supporter of his nieces and nephew in all of their sports, high school, college, and church activities.
Allan is survived by one brother: Bary (Barbara) Eversole; one sister: Cathy (Michael) Hughes; and nieces and nephew: Bradley Hughes, Christin Mahlie, Lisa Douglas, Leslie Heaslet, Cindy Olson, and Dana Miller.
He was a faithful caregiver for his mother, Treva.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 4:00 until 8:00 pm, at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 11:00 am at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. Pastor Kyle Thain will officiate with burial to follow in Truro Cemetery, Columbus Grove, Ohio.
